Senior Training Coordinator (Project Management)

The National Resource Center for Youth Services (NRCYS) at the University of Oklahoma (OU) has been improving the effectiveness of human services for over 50 years. NRCYS provides training and technical assistance to programs in Oklahoma and nationally. Specializing in training and consultation, NRCYS is a leader in youth service philosophy, best practices, and youth engagement.
Position Summary
This position will oversee the development and delivery of training, conduct assigned NRCYS training as needed, and provide consultation and technical assistance services to individuals and organizations to strengthen their ability to best serve children, youth, and families. This includes, but is not limited to, training, collaborative partnerships, planning and facilitation of meetings and conferences, program assessment and documentation, and data collection, analysis, and reporting. Supervise and develop staff as assigned to oversee the implementation of assigned projects, training, and programs. A significant focus of this position will be meeting the critical tasks associated with the Resource Family Training (RFT) Program through a sponsored program agreement with the State of Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS) to provide foundational training to foster, kinship, and adoptive parents.
Duties
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree, AND:
Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 66 months of related experience.18 months of experience working in an educational setting.
Department Preferences for Education and Experience:
Bachelor's or master's degree in social work, psychology, human services, or a closely related field AND
Department Preferred Skills and Proficiencies:
Supervision:
Supervise a minimum of three to five staff. Manage and oversee programs and projects for planning and facilitating activities, training, and capacity-building technical assistance supporting state and national NRCYS initiatives.
