- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 8 years relevant work experience in human resources with a strong performance management, employee relations, and recruitment background
- Proven experience and expertise across the core HR Areas required for the role, including federal, state and city regulations
- Professional maturity and the ability to work under general supervision to organize and prioritize work, with high level of accuracy and handle highly confidential information
- Strong HR Generalist background with core competencies in the areas of human capital management, employee relations, talent development, organizational change, employee development, performance management, and compensation and benefits
- Possess strong business acumen with the ability to serve as a key member of the HR Team
- Experience working with leave of absence processes, ADA, FMLA, etc...
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen effectively and communicate in a clear yet empathetic manner
- Able to work in a matrix environment to influence and drive HR best practices across operations and varying organizational levels
- Human Resource certification, preferred
- Master's degree, preferred
TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Sr. Human Resources Business Partner located in Atlanta, GA.
The Sr. HR Business Partner will serve as a consultative and strategic business partner to TK Elevator's Shared Services Center. This role will be responsible for implementing company-wide programs and processes with a special emphasis on creating a performance-based culture and driving business initiatives/results. Duties include partnering with Senior Leaders, Managers and Employees to identify key business gaps and needs which have people or people process implications. The SR HRBP will partner with key stakeholders and core HR functions to develop and implement organization specific, people initiatives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Act as primary point of contact for department leaders, providing expertise and guidance in the areas of performance management, change management, coaching, and talent assessment.
- Work across functional areas to build partnerships and provide seamless HR service to assigned client groups. Provide consultative HR services to identified client groups in support of organizational objectives.
- Provide coaching and appropriate follow through to management on people issues. Counsel managers and employees on policies, procedures and inform of changes.
- Work with assigned leadership team(s) to understand business strategies, diagnose current organization performance, and develop/implement plans to build needed organization capabilities and support aggressive growth.
- Develops and manages specific HR programs and projects to support the organization's strategic plans and to drive engagement.
- Partners with other HR team members on company-wide initiatives and drives projects to successful and timely delivery. This includes HR peer groups within corporate, field and manufacturing and HR center of excellence teams.
- Investigates employee and manager complaints within client group and occasionally outside or direct client group. Review findings and recommendations with HR Director, and Legal. Will lead any follow up actions and determinations that result from the investigation.
- Partners with managers and compensation team to develop job descriptions and to assign compensation structure that meets internal and external guidelines and requirements.
- Assists managers with recruiting efforts and advises on offer letter compensation and to attract top candidates.
- Creates, implements, and supports competitive attraction and retention strategies in partnership with the Talent Acquisition and Talent Management teams
- Facilitates performance management process with managers and employees, by answering questions and providing training. Ensures that management is completing process stages in a timely manner and process in effective and positive for employees
- Responsible for leading talent conversation to identify top talent, high potential employees and to identify and help address those with performance concerns
- Partners with manager on performance improvement, reviews employment actions and requests termination approval through corporate human resources leadership & legal
- Reviews affirmative action data and compiles responses to OFCCP audits
- Administers various functions involving leave of absences, informing employees of their rights, return to work, ADA extensions and status of employment
- Maintains data integrity of HR systems, and updates employment data as necessary
