The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As the Global Director of Analytics for Supply Chain in Solventum, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Analytics and Digitization in Supply Chain are aligned with the business goals, industry standards, and best practices. This role is a great opportunity for a talented, experienced and motivated leader to lead an important and meaningful transformation at Solventum reporting to the Vice President of Digitization of Supply Chain. This leader will be pivotal in driving digital transformation of end-to-end supply chain, focusing on best in class analytics and industry 4.0 solution to drive supply chain digital thread, enhancing real time decision making, operational efficiencies/productivity, cost effectiveness and quality excellence.

We are seeking a strategic and result driven Director of Analytics for Supply chain to lead our analytics team in leveraging data to optimize our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in data analysis, cloud computing, supply chain management and team leadership. This role will be instrumental in driving data-informed decision-making, improving operational efficiency and enhancing our overall supply chain performance.

This role requires strong understanding of Analytics reporting tools and technology like Power BI, Snowflake, Alteryx/Palantir, AI/ML/LLM/Generative AI. This role will also require good understanding of supply chain functions like Planning, Sourcing, and Logistics/Warehousing. A good understanding of backend systems like ERP, PLM, QMS, will also be advantageous.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Lead and Execute Supply Chain Intelligence/Analytics strategic across all domains of supply chain - Plan, Source, Deliver and Customer- to align with business goals to drive data driven decision making. Collaborate with supply chain leadership/teams to identify, prioritize and implement use cases to deliver impact in line with Solventum objectives. Utilize advanced analytics/AI techniques and tools to analyze supply chain data, identify trends and provide actionable insights for improved decision-making and augmentation of human performance. Drive the architecture/design of big data strategy and solution roadmap for real time data streaming, data processing, storage, retrieval and visualization. Partner with cross functional team on building Supply Chain intelligence application using data and analytics for data driven decision making for e.g. Integrated business planning, demand forecasting, spend cube, Inventory Optimization/deployment, OTIF, Tiered metrics, logistics cost optimization, Performance KPIs etc. Drive digital literacy and solution adoption within supply chain on usage of data mining, AI/ML, Generative AI, Robotic Process Automation, Simulation/Digital twin while building a strong team of data stewards, data engineers, data scientists and analysts. Drive standardization of technology, solutions and reports globally to drive "One Solventum" way of doing business. Lead and participate in the evaluation of emerging technologies, selection of appropriate tools/platforms and form partnership with vendors to deliver on key solutions Provide strong program/project management leadership to drive active prioritization of use cases, on-time/on-budget execution and effective change management for adoption of technologies. Build expertise in data discovery, data management and governance, data stewardship, data engineering and data mining and data science. Establish data quality metrics, monitor system to identify data issues and ensure availability of high quality data to end user when needed. Cross-fucntional collaboration with Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, HR, IT, Engineering and leadership team to make the proactive insights available on time Lead, inspire and coach a team of talented individuals in a fast-paced environment while championing the Solventum culture.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Engineering, Computer Science or business related field AN D 10+ years' experience in information technology including a minimum of 5+ years of data management/data science
• Must have a minimum of 3 years experience leading analytics teams.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Good understanding and working knowledge of supply chain functions- Plan, Source, Make and Deliver
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex designs, solutions and data insights
• Working knowledge in source data systems for supply chain like ERP, MES, QMS, and PLM
• Proficiency in data programming languages like Python, SQL, DevOps
• Proficiency of Analytics/digital tools like Power BI/Tableau, SPC applications and AI/ML/LLM Proficiency in cloud computing and data management tools like AWS, Snowflake, Azure, SSIS, Microsoft SQL server, Microsoft Fabric
• Hands on experience in designing and implementing real time data architecture, including data warehousing, real time data lake, statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization
• Hands on experience in data modeling, data cleaning, data transformation, data quality and data governance
• Experience in supply chain functions like demand planning, supply planning, sourcing, logistics and delivery and manufacturing is highly desirable
• Strong communication and leadership skills dealing with a global cross-functional team
• Working knowledge of tools like Alteryx/Palantir will be a plus
• Strong Change Management Skills
• Med device or pharma experience will be a plus

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $222,044 - $271,387, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
