POSITION PURPOSE:
A Warehouse Maintenance Associate is responsible for the prompt repair and ongoing maintenance of facilities, equipment, and company vehicles. Identify, monitor and troubleshoot problems. Keep records of work performed and complete maintenance history logs. Control and account for equipment. Ensure operation of safe and functionally sound equipment. Maintain grounds and clears parking lots. Maintain and order supplies and parts as needed.
BASIC RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Provide recommendations to repair or replace poorly functioning equipment
- Efficiently prioritizes repair schedule to ensure an uninterrupted production schedule
- Troubleshoot equipment problems to include brake, electrical and hydraulic systems, detect imperfections, potential problems, safety issues and/or malfunctions
- Provide improvements required to ensure compliance to safety regulations to DC and safety team
- Ensure that department is appropriately stocked with part and tools needed to perform their job
- Undertakes actions such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc, on equipment for preventive maintenance purposes
- Replace broken or defective parts from stock parts and/or order replacement parts for major repairs
- Modifies and tests equipment to improve systems uptime and reliability
- Updates and reviews daily maintenance logs
- Follows all safety policies and procedures strictly
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-2 years of on-the-job experience with electronics and mechanical equipment
- Machining and fabrication experience helpful
- Current Driver's License
- General Mechanical knowledge, experience with hand power tools
- Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available
