Reporting to the Training Manager at The Education and Training Institute, the Student Coordinator (SC) is responsible for overseeing the placement process for all unpaid Clinical and non-Clinical students and interns for NeighborHealth (formerly East Boston Neighborhood Health Center). The Coordinator will be responsible for the entire placement process including screening applicants, placement within appropriate Departments, and managing the pre-onboarding and onboarding process, including all required training. The Coordinator will work with NeighborHealth Departments to process all student and intern placements, including Employee Health, Human Resources, The Education and Training Institute, and appropriate Clinical Departments. As necessary, the SC will professionally represent ETI when greeting and interacting with the public, NeighborHealth staff and participating schools. They will assist with general office support and support the Training Manager and Director of Workforce Development with additional duties as needed. EDUCATION: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
EXPERIENCE: At least two to three years of customer service and administrative experience preferred. Advanced computer skills in database reporting, PowerPoint, Outlook and other MS applications.
SKILLS/ABILITIES: Highly organized with an attention to detail and comfort using powerpoint, word, excel and outlook. Good communication skills with the ability to solve problems and manage competing deadlines. Desire and ability to both work independently and as a team member.
