Terminal Coordinator (Finance)

Job Summary
We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented Terminal Coordinator to join our team. This entry-level position is crucial in supporting the safe and efficient operation of DOT-regulated pipelines and the handling and documentation of gasoline and distillate products in accordance with PHMSA, EPA, DOT, and CITGO Petroleum Corporation guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Facility Operation: You will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of two DOT-regulated pipeline systems and related equipment. Completing daily security checks and completing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly inspections of equipment and facility grounds.
Product Receipts and Deliveries: Coordinate with other pipeline companies, refineries, and third-party product inspectors for receiving and delivering operations via DOT-regulated pipeline systems. You will be required to manually and remotely open and close valves to create the correct path alignment for the product to flow both into and out of the terminal tankage system. Will need the ability to visually verify the valves are in the correct position, both on the internal CITGO monitoring system and in the field. You will be required to monitor internal product transfers and record the data accordingly.
Plant Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, including repairing and calibrating plant equipment. This includes valve maintenance, calibration of tank gauging units, and additive systems at the loading rack. Terminal storm water drainage from dikes and holding pond areas. Troubleshooting terminal equipment issues.
Product quality equipment testing & inspection: Inspection and testing of tank high-level alarms with proper documentation. Inspect safety equipment and testing of firewater and foam systems monthly. Product quality sampling and testing of product receipts and deliveries, testing will include testing products for correct RVP, flash, and gravity standards that align with all CITGO policies and procedures.
Truck rack loading/off-loading operation supervision: Responsibilities include driver training for loading & off-loading of petroleum products. Issuance of new driver cards, inspection of product transports, maintain driver files and entering driver and trailer data into the CITGO automated systems.
Routine Terminal Operations: Monitor tank levels for the safety of the terminal. Use a forklift to offload delivery trucks, and monitor the delivery of product additives. Perform daily VRU (vapor recovery unit) inspections, record the levels, and ensure the levels are within the operational limits of the VRU unit. Assist with meter calibration services for the loading rack, reconcile terminal product inventories for receipts/deliveries into and out of the terminal tankage. Monitoring product transfers and blending activities. Interacting with contractors and completing ongoing computer-based training.
Minimum Qualifications
High School or equivalent education.
2 years of experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint is preferred.
