Junior Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS: Some experience or relevant training in a quality role within the electronics assembly industry.
Educational background in a related technical field or experience as an electronic assembly technician.
EXPERIENCE: Entry level or some practical experience in a relevant field is necessary, supported by engineering schooling or technical experience as a technician.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from four-year college or technical school. Combination of school and experience will be considered.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Ability to navigate and use internet/intranet and other programs such as the MS Office package including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access, or Company-wide cross functional Enterprise Resource Planning software.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Understanding of mathematical concepts
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
