Full Time Bakery Manager (Finance)
Job Responsibilities:
• Positively effective department labor and productivity factors through efficient task organization and delegation
• Train and evaluate bakery department personnel
• Assist with customer questions or requests
• Plan, set, and maintain bakery cases
• Organize, direct and assist with daily department functions
• Performs baking and product preparation
• Monitor and assist in directing bakery department sanitation to ensure proper condition
• Order and receive bakery shipments correctly
Job Requirements:
• Equipment operation (shrink wrap, label machine, bread slicer, knives, bakery racks, etc.)
• Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
• Able to work in various temperatures and wet surfaces
• The position requires ongoing customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service.
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
• Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.
• Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 18 years of age and older.
Physical Requirements:
• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions
• Extended exposure to varied temperatures and wet surfaces
Schedule:
• Open availability required for position
• At least one evening shift between Friday to Sunday
