Vice President, Product Managment (remote) (Biotech)
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product management professional to join our team at ACR. This role is responsible for driving the growth and profitability of our product categories of our foodservice packaging product portfolio and for developing and executing product strategies that meet the needs of our customers and align with our company's goals.
WHAT YOULL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Significant experience in leading product management, preferably within the foodservice packaging industry, but comparable experience is valued and acceptable. Proven track record of driving growth and profitability. Ability to collaborate cross functionally. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies and tactics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Able to write to compel action, be it emails to colleagues, ad copy for customers, instructions for sales representatives, etc. Demonstrated leadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and experience with category management software and tools. Bachelors degree required, advanced degree in business or marketing a plus.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Responsible for full P/L of Product categories and classes. Working cost with Supply Chain and placement strategies with sales by developing programs to drive sales and profitability Develop and implement product strategies that drive growth and profitability in the foodservice packaging segment, including product innovation, pricing, and promotional strategies. Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform category strategies. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of strategies and execution plans. Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to develop and launch new products and services that meet customer needs and deliver value to the business. Owns and works with PMs to sell Obsolete and Excess inventory within Operations guidelines. Analyze sales and financial data to monitor category performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization and improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute pricing strategies, including pricing models, promotions, and trade terms. Develop and maintain category budgets and forecasts, including revenue, margin, and expense targets. Manage and mentor a team of product managers, development managers and training to ensure effective execution of category strategies and achievement of business objectives.
Compensation Range: $200,000 - $220,000 annually. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based onthe skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position. ACR reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
