SUMMARY Effectively lead and align resources through the usage of enterprise MRP systems and Lean tools to maximize operational excellence and execution. The Manufacturing Supervisor will be critical in ensuring effective and efficient daily execution of production work along with helping to drive Continuous Improvement by utilizing Continuous Improvement and Sustainability (CIS) framework, tools, and learnings. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Continually support and improve manufacturing processes and techniques while allocating the appropriate resources to achieve the factory Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives. Continuously improve safety to reduce the total number of incidents for the plant. Direct team member daily activities to meet company and customer goals. Actively participate in process improvement by reviewing and suggesting methods. Assists in the training, developing, and mentoring of employees Responsible for interviewing and hiring production personnel. Maintain employee timekeeping, time off requests and absences through the time management system. Audit and review non-conformities in the production process Evaluate employee performance on a continual basis and provide continuous performance feedback Assists with first article and/or NPI assemblies as needed Demonstrates a high level of creativity; continuously looks for ways to improve and increase quality and efficiency through the use of the Continuous Improvement System (CIS). Implement corrective and disciplinary actions Interfaces with engineers as required Maintains and posts performance measures for SQDCI Metrics in line with the Continuous Improvement System (CIS). EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree preferred with four (4) years of manufacturing experience or high school diploma and eight (8) years of manufacturing experience.
