Senior SUE Analyst (Project Management)
Accurately locate and mark underground utilities, including electric, gas, water, and telecommunications lines.
Utilize advanced locating equipment and techniques to ensure precise identification.
Interpret and analyze maps, blueprints, and other technical documents.
Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Maintain detailed records of all locate activities and findings.
Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations.
Provide training and mentorship to junior utility locators.
Assist in the development and implementation of new locating procedures and technologies.
Knowledge of GNSS and convectional surveying instruments to locate existing utilizes and marks.
Knowledge of ASCE Standard Guideline for Investigating and Documenting Existing Utilities (38-22).
Qualifications:
Extensive experience with energy generation and distribution throughout the southeast.
Proven track record as a utility locator, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Proficiency in using advanced utility locating equipment and software.
Strong understanding of utility mapping and documentation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certifications and training records as a utility locator are required.
Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration.
Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails
Ability to work along highways, in wooded areas, and on construction job sites.
Wear and work using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety vests, work boots, and safety glasses/goggles as company directives require.
