Full time role is for 2nd & 3rd shifts primarily, and weekends
Shift differential for 2nd & 3rd shifts per hour
Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct patient care to individuals struggling with substance abuse and addiction. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will assist physicians in developing treatment plans, perform patient assessments, monitor a patient's progress and administer medications and pain management services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The LPN position duties and responsibilities listed below describe the general nature and scope of work. Other responsibilities, duties and skills may be required and assigned, as needed.
Assists in the identification of medical, emotional, and social needs of the client throughout the treatment process.Assesses medical and psychological problems reporting significant findings to the physician and/or appropriate counselor.Completes an initial medical and nutritional assessment, and a chemical dependency and suicide history.Assists in the supervision of monitored self-medication program.Provides regularly scheduled medical lectures to clients.Administers TB tests to clients and staff in accordance with PA Department of Health. Offers educational material on STDs, TB, and HIV.Adheres to Patient Rights as outlined in licensure manual.Maintains inventory of medical and pharmaceutical supplies.Participates in ongoing trainings and seminars and attends all in-service trainings as scheduled.Completes nutritional screenings making dietary modifications where needed.Requests initial urine and blood tests and file reports.Reviews and organizes all medical files.Coordinates outside medical appointments.Obtains written and telephone orders and documents appropriately.Effectively use Enterprise Manager (EM) as needed to carry out duties of the position.Performs other duties as assigned.
