Email Marketing Specialist (Creative Design)

Position Summary/Objective:
Our Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing Global Widget's direct-to-consumer email campaigns for our in-house brands: Hemp Bombs, Mystic Labs, Green Roads and Cannabis Life. In this creative and results-driven role, you will work closely with our Marketing Manager to set up, proof and send email campaigns, manage list growth and implement personalization and segmentation best practices to improve user experience and drive revenue growth.
Essential Functions
- Coordinate with design and content teams to set up and proof all branded email marketing campaigns
- Ensure email best practices are followed for deliverability, mobile optimization and engagement
- Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements; contribute to offer/promotional strategy
- Monitor and report on key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, engagement, and conversions
- Use data insights to continuously improve strategy
- Implement and manage A/B testing to optimize revenue
- Perform competitive analysis to optimize channel growth
- Assist with email automations and personalized marketing flows to deliver revenue
Required Education and Experience
- BS degree in Marketing or relevant field
- 2-3 years of email campaign management experience or similar (i.e. social media management)
- Experience with project management software like Trello, Monday, Jira or similar
- Creative minded with excellent written communication and copywriting skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines coordinating cross-functionally
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset
- Process oriented and results driven
- Hands-on experience with HTML and Email Service Providers (Klaviyo, Mail Chimp, etc.) is a plus but not required if you are willing to learn
