Traditions Home Health Services is seeking senior companions to assist with our geriatric aged clients with transportation to their appointments and outings. The caregiver would pick up their client at the client's home and assist the client to your vehicle, clients could be a fall risk, need assistance with ambulation, use a walker, use a cane, or wheelchair. You would provide a safe, conversational, relaxing ride to the client's appointment or outing. The candidate would accompany and assist their client to the doctor's office and wait in the waiting room for their client to complete the appointment. If the caregiver is assisting to the store or other outings the caregiver would accompany the client on these errands. The companion caregiver would assist the client back to their vehicle and transport the client back to their residence. The companion caregiver could be required to assist the client back into their residence and also might be required to assist the client with support, depending on the trip, caregiver might have to bring in bags from grocery shopping or other outings and offer assistance on putting the items away in their proper storage. The companion caregiver would receive hourly compensation and mileage reimbursement.
