Job Summary
Job Description
Lead and develop training curricula, design & deliver role-based training programs for implementation and ongoing support of emerging business priorities and help solve problems where no solution currently exists.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a training strategy, roadmap, and project plan for training activities related to implementations.
Serve as a thought leader on best practices by staying up-to-date on the latest research and current trends that promote healthy high-performing organizations and effective leaders and teams.
Build relationships with leadership, vendors, and stakeholders within Medline to collaborate on training priorities, training quality, train-the-trainer certification, and delivery of training programs.
Needs Analysis
Engage and consult with business and work stream leaders to gain understanding of business unit objectives, key initiatives, talent strategies, and organizational challenges.
Partner with business and program stakeholders to understand the learning needs of key audiences. Perform needs analysis to assess the state of the business, identify key performance and skills/knowledge gaps, and recommend solutions, both training and non-training, to drive painless adoption of the system.
Course Development
Plan, design, and develop training programs and curricula, including instructor-led training content as well as storyboards for electronic learning modules.
Collaborate with subject matter experts, technical teams, and stakeholders to gather information and ensure accuracy training documentation.
In partnership with implementation partners and vendors, develop and maintain training artifacts, including user guides, system documentation, and knowledge articles.
Training Delivery
Lead implementation training programs with focus on identifying, designing, developing and deploying training solutions that meet our multiple audiences' needs before and after deployments. Conduct training sessions, workshops, and webinars to educate end-users on applications, modules, and/or business processes.
Conduct and/or participates in formal walk-through of training materials (Train-The-Trainer Sessions).
Training Effectiveness
Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback, and make necessary adjustments to training programs as needed.
Administration
Manage training delivery calendar by developing classroom agendas, timelines, and content flow as necessary to deliver effective training to end users.
Track and measure attendance and completion metrics in cooperation with trainers, HR colleagues, change champions, and leaders in each location.
Provide support and assistance to end-users in resolving issues and escalations.
Requirements
Education
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in organization development, human performance technology, communications or related field.
Work Experience
At least 5 years' experience planning, designing, and leading training programs.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Demonstrated experience with Instructional Design principles and development applications, e.g., e-learning software, image and media editing software, etc.
Knowledge of training methodology in each phase of the training lifecycle, i.e., assessment, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.
Knowledge of consulting on learning practices including needs analysis, skill and performance assessments, organizational interventions, facilitation, and the design and delivery of content for various audiences.
Demonstrated mastery of diagnosis, coaching, consultation, design, facilitation and measurement with senior leaders, leadership teams and organizational assessment.
Experience supporting organizations through scale and change.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Strong analytical skills; ability to make decisions using data to drive recommendations for performance solutions.
Ability to refine insights and data into concise, relevant presentations for an executive audience. Interpersonal skills; ability to build alliances with leadership and key partners to gain commitment and implement performance solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences and attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to interact effectively with all levels within the organization.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Bilingual Spanish speaking, reading, writing skills.
