Technical Operations Intern (Information Technology)
Lynden Air Cargo is looking for a Technical Operations Intern. The intern will provide general technical and administrative assistance to the Technical Operations group which consists of a Technical Operations Specialist, Technical Publications Manager and VP of Technical Operations. The mission of the Technical Operations Intern is to support the company's paperless initiative. This position will work closely with the members of the Technical Operations team on projects such as the company SharePoint site, and various SAAS (Software as a Service) file repositories.
This is a seasonal position, with employment beginning around May through September, dependent on operational needs.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Successful candidates should be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program. Candidates are required to have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, vendors, regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Ability to speak clearly and produce quality written communications. Ability to effectively present information to individuals or small groups.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Must be able to pass a post-hire fingerprint-based criminal history records check with no disqualifying criminal offenses. Must pass a post-conditional offer of employment drug test. Random drug testing is required of all Lynden Air Cargo employees.
