The Supply Chain Director is responsible for overseeing all worldwide supply chain activities, serving as the leading source of supply chain expertise within the organization. This role provides strategic leadership and management of the entire global supply chain, including internal manufacturing and external contract manufacturing. The Director will partner with cross-functional department leaders and site managers to develop and execute strategies that drive business growth through effective procurement and supply chain management. A key focus is to manage the supply chain in alignment with the company's sustainability goals and roadmaps while ensuring operational excellence in quality, cost, and delivery. This position reports directly to the General Manager and is a core member of AIPC Executive Leadership. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all strategic and tactical supply chain activities globally, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic plan and stakeholder needs. Develop, execute, and continuously evaluate a comprehensive supply chain and sourcing strategy, including annual goals and objectives that support the business strategy and investment plan. Regularly report on supply chain activities to the Executive and Senior Leadership Teams, providing accurate and timely updates on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Standardize supplier evaluation processes and conduct regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards. Maintain and update supplier certificates and relevant documentation to ensure current compliance. Develop and report on supplier performance metrics to monitor effectiveness and drive continuous improvement. Monitor and improve supplier qualifications, ensuring they meet operational and quality requirements. Optimize procurement processes by identifying, sourcing, and managing key component and material suppliers while analyzing associated costs. Negotiate favorable contracts with vendors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality standards and sustainability initiatives. Utilize data monitoring and analytics to evaluate past performance and trends, forecast inventory requirements, and inform decision-making. Foster a culture of accountability and a commercial mindset within the supply chain team, retaining and developing top talent. Build and maintain strategic relationships with third-party suppliers, service providers, and contract manufacturers. Lead initiatives to integrate sustainability into supply chain operations, aligning efforts with the company's sustainability goals and roadmaps. Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure readiness and efficiency of all supply chain activities. Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 10 years in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing global supply chain operations, including both internal and external manufacturing. Skills and Competencies: Strong understanding of global supply chain processes, logistics, procurement, and sustainability practices. Excellent strategic planning and execution skills, with proficiency in data analysis and supply chain management software. Strong negotiation skills and experience in vendor management. Exceptional leadership and team development abilities, fostering a culture of performance and accountability. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex supply chain concepts to executive leadership and cross-functional teams. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of making data-driven decisions. Sustainability Focus: Experience in integrating sustainability initiatives into supply chain operations.
