Senior Accountant (Project Management)

The Senior Accountant is responsible for delivering trusted, accurate and timely financial results through cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Coordinates month-end close procedures

•  Prepares and posts journal entries, including underlying supporting schedules and support.
•  Assists with Month-End Reporting reconciliation.
•  Prepares required schedules for reporting of financial data.
•  Prepares various balance sheet reconciliations through cross-functional collaboration.
•  Performs detailed financial statement analysis to identify trends, variances, and anomalies.
•  Ensures compliance with corporate reporting timelines.

Accounting tasks

Additional Tasks:

• Continuously reviews processes and procedures for improvements and efficiencies.
• Supports internal and external audits.
• Prepares recurring and ad hoc audit schedules

 

Requirements

• BA Accounting degree.
• 3-5 years of related accounting experience with a company or from public accounting.
• Ability to read and comprehend accounting literature such as IFRS, GAAP, FASB's, etc.
• Proficient in MS Office Products.
• Demonstrated proficiency in accounting principles and standards.
• Proficient in SAP or similar ERP.
• CPA Preferred
