Supervisor, Land (Finance)
• BA or BS Degree is required. Knowledge and/or emphasis in real estate, business administration, law or public relations are a plus.
• Must have a minimum of eight to ten (8 - 10) years' experience in the Land and Right of Way profession; and/or equivalent experience in dealing with real estate, landowners, local, state, and federal agencies, as well as agricultural and livestock management.
• Must have strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Must be able to interface and deal effectively with all levels of personnel and people.
• Must maintain effective work relationships and have the ability to handle complex negotiations and situations.
• Must have a good understanding of real property law and principles.
• Must have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
• Must be flexible, able to adapt to changes in work activities, set priorities, work under pressure, and follow through with assigned tasks.
• Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Earth or other GIS software (ArcGIS), etc.
• Familiar with various databases or ability to navigate databases with basic training.
• Member of the International Right of Way Association (IRWA) or other industry association is preferred.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain a Notary Commission.
