Primary Responsibilities
The Sr. Payroll Processing Specialist is responsible for supporting the technical aspects of the Payroll department with system knowledge, federal regulatory knowledge, individual state requirements, payroll knowledge, repayment knowledge, research and problem resolution. This is accomplished through processing payroll for each payroll cycle and executing technical payroll balancing responsibilities in regard to wage types, payroll earnings, taxes, deductions, payroll adjustments and assisting other business areas with the appropriate balancing techniques.
Associate's degree in a business related field or equivalent in experience
4 years of experience in an analytical position
technical knowledge of SAP HR and/or Finance
in depth knowledge of payroll including Paid Time Off (PTO), overpayment, multiple pay cycle(s), etc.

Bachelor's Degree Finance, Accounting or Business Management
6 years of analytical experience
advanced experience with MS Office applications (ability to design and create queries and reports)
