Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer (Finance)

Role accountabilities:
Project Leadership: Support projects and clients in the planning, design and construction of water/wastewater facilities and other similar industrial facilities, serving as Arcadis' main point of contact with our clients for their electrical needs. You will be expected to develop project proposals for new and existing clients in the water/wastewater industry and similar type industries.
Project Management: Development of project management skills including support in managing budgets and delivery schedules for each assignment; for project/task scope schedule and budget. Electrical design will be part of this role and you will be expected to coordinate various projects with an emphasis on motor controls, power distribution, lighting, and communications, for new water/wastewater, and industrial projects.
Interdisciplinary Work: Coordinate with Project Managers, Architects, Civil, Process-Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, I&C/SCADA, and Structural engineers to plan and design electrical systems for new or modified facilities.
Design: Design work will require a basic proficiency with CAD Programs (Revit, Navisworks, etc.) specifically concerning as mentioned electrical systems for Engineering Design and Construction projects. You will also need to establish design criteria, performing design calculations, developing one-line diagrams, control schematics, plans, and specifications.
Construction Overlap: Perform engineering services during construction, including reviewing equipment submittals, shop drawings and responding to contractor RFI's (requests for information). This will include conducting field inspections, overseeing projects in construction which includes identifying deviations from design, performing general QA/QC of completed work, and monitoring safety compliance.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15-20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $122,000 - $183,000.
