• A minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalency is required.

• This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with maintenance/repair of electrical and/or mechanical equipment.
• Familiarity with operation/maintenance of Industrial equipment is an asset.
• Experience with man lifts (scissor and boom) and forklifts is an asset.
• Related Industrial Maintenance/Electrical training, an asset.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Must possess reading, writing, and basic math skills.
• Familiarity with measurement principles, electrical or electronic testing devices, drawings and schematics, equipment user manuals, activity and task instructions.
• Basic computer skills required. Advanced skills are desirable.
• Successful learning through On-The-Job with a mentor.
• Ability to research and learn using self-paced methods an asset.

Employee is required to execute the following:
• Occasional bending, reaching, pushing and pulling when retrieving and moving various items.
• Lifting various items intermittently. Typically, assistance would be provided for weights exceeding 35 pounds.
• Good manual dexterity to operate computer equipment and precision measuring instruments.
• Oral communication via telephone or in person while interacting with customers, suppliers, or other employees.
• Position may require more than eight hours daily and more than five days weekly to complete work assignments.
• Sitting in chairs (swivel, padded, and adjustable).
• Squatting / crouching when retrieving stored items from lower shelves and file cabinets, making equipment / product inspections, etc.
• Standing intermittently.
• Visual monitoring of computer screens.

Responsible for daily maintenance, installation, dismantlement, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical or electrical equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and repairs in order to ensure that all equipment continues to run effectively, and facility systems operate efficiently and reliably.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic machinery, combustion systems, electrical and electronic equipment.
• Install, assemble, rebuild and repair all types of equipment and support all facilities infrastructure.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment.
• Participate in projects and planning events. Interface with suppliers and lead contracting activities. Use Computer Maintenance Management System.
• Responsible for identifying, specifying and using spare and replacement parts.
• Participate, lead and actively support all necessary training, EHS, Human Performance, and company or department objectives.
• This position requires availability for shift and weekend work. Holiday and emergency coverage are also required.
