Set-up Technician Injection Molding (Manufacturing)



Majors Plastics, a 100% employee owned plastics molding company is looking for a Set-up Technician! Our set-up teams support manufacturing by changing molds to meet customer requirements and establish processes which enable production to meet its quotas, while maintaining product quality throughout the production run. Schedule:

Monday through Friday from 6:30am-3:00pm, must have ability to work weekends when required.(Training for this position with be on 1st shift for the first 60-90 days)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs equipment set ups as directed including installing injection molds, handles set-up processes and ensures equipment is generating good parts
  • Provide ongoing support to shift supervisors to optimize all production runs.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
  • Mold Preventative Maintenance: tear down and reassembly or making insert changes for next set up.

Knowledges/ Skills/ Abilities

  • Strong technical abilities
  • Forklift experience
  • Related work experience
