Product Strategy Sales Support - Express Scripts - Hybrid (Finance)
This position will play a key role in building and executing client specific strategies for adoption of Supply Chain & PBM Product solutions in support of renewals and new business. At the highest level, this strategy is about developing competencies in understanding our clients/prospects and aligning solutions that supporttheir business goals and incorporating that into responses for the organizations most strategic opportunities. We track the feedback and outcomes on these client specific strategies used through all phases of the sales process to develop an implementation upsell plan.
We work with Sales & Account Management to solve our clients/prospects greatest pain points through product positioning. Along with Supply Chain & PBM Products knowledge, this position requires an understanding of the market landscape and the ability to work cross-functionally with other product SMEs where product overlap may occur. It requires the ability to understand client and sales team needs, overcome barriers and work closely with product owners and innovators.
This position will act as a Supply Chain & PBM Product subject matter expert for all phases of the sales process including, but not limited to proposal, finalist, implementation and contracting.
Essential Functions
• Understand the market landscape and demonstrate ability to build appropriate client/prospect specific strategies to respond to Request for Proposals (RFP) or Request for Information (RFI)
• Develop deep expertise in various Supply Chain & PBM product initiatives to support internal partner questions throughout the sales process as well as client contract redlines
• Exercise creativity and foresight in developing strategic product sales content and maintain an assigned database of established content
• Partner with Product Owners to quickly learn product updates and develop solution positioning strategies and deploy updates to applicable sales content within managed database
• Interpret internal or external issues and recommends solutions/best practices. Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify solutions
• Participate in regular team meetings and organizational business reviews
• Gather client, account team and consultant feedback on solutions to inform Product Ownership and contribute to continuous solution improvement
• Gather market insights from RFPs/RFIs on emerging industry pain points to inform Product leadership and contribute to solution development
• Manage sales tracking within the products supported, reporting out on opportunities to all levels of organization, developing strategies to ensure alignment across organizational goals
• Recognized internally as "the go-to person" for the most complex Supply Chain & PBM Product assignments
Qualifications
