IT Support Technician (Information Technology)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Acts as a first responder for IT request computer help desk. Assists Support II & IIIs in more advanced tickets to gain experience. Professionally escalates tickets when needed. Documents and updates tickets with solutions, and closes tickets. Notifies the end user of solutions. Installs, configures, and supports computer based end-user workstations. Safely configures and migrates end user data from computers, workstations, and mobile devices to new devices. Checks and replaces filters for dust covers, and Network brown box switches. Installs and maintains Windows OS on workstations, PCs, laptops, and handhelds. Assists technology based projects as assigned and travels to various plants and sites. Ability to independently trouble shoot computer problems and check their own work. Performs other duties as assigned.
