Coordinates All Aspects of Yard and Equipment Management
Job Description:
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Manages Swinerton Builders yard and equipment
• Fills tool and equipment orders for projects
• Oversees the repair of tools and equipment
• Responsible for tool and equipment inventory
• Maintains equipment in good working order onsite and at jobsites
• Manages tool and equipment delivery to and from jobsites
• Processes telephone orders for tools and equipment
• Assures the work quality of other yard personnel
• Oversees and coordinates activity of the division company vehicles
• Directs the work of company mechanic
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned
Punctuality and dependability
MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 5 years experience in construction equipment utilization
• Minimum one year of jobsite or yard supervisory experience
• Practical knowledge of function, operation and maintenance of construction tools and equipment
• Training in equipment repair or equivalent experience
• Good construction technical skills
• Effective written and verbal English communications skills
• Problem solving ability and a strong sense of urgency
• Valid driver's license
