Travel %: 10%
Pay: $144,000.00 - $247,825.00
What you will do
The Director, Global Media Procurement will play a pivotal role in shaping global category practices. Your responsibilities will include defining and implementing sourcing strategies to optimize the Global Media category, managing stakeholder relationships to enhance cost savings and the overall value of Procurement, ensuring compliance with established policies and processes, and striving to meet agreed-upon Procurement targets that align with the broader budget objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the definition of the category strategy for the Global Media Category.
- Analyze the category to define its profile, including risk and supplier base assessments.
- Benchmark category practices to identify improvement initiatives.
- Build a category-specific strategic plan aligned with business teams.
- Align the strategic plan with financial budgets and global business strategies.
- Implement global strategy and realize savings.
- Conduct internal and external analysis of industry and suppliers.
- Consolidate requirements and act as a business partner for optimization.
- Lead contract implementation and ensure compliance.
- Be accountable for delivering savings as per mutually defined targets.
- Support cross-functional sourcing teams in strategic sourcing projects.
- Drive supplier selection and lead fact-based negotiations.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers and monitor their performance.
- Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring business needs are met.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's in business, economics, finance, procurement, legal, or equivalent.
- 9 to 15 years in a Global or Regional Media role.
- Advanced knowledge of sourcing and procurement methodologies specific to Global Media.
- Proven ability in category management and sourcing on a global/regional level.
- Strong understanding of procurement strategy development and implementation.
- Knowledge of procurement tools, data management, and automation.
- Expertise in risk and compliance management.
- Ability to analyze specifications and influence demand effectively.
- Strong capability to interact independently across the organization.
- Experience in project and process management.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and influencing skills.
- Action-oriented, solution-minded, and self-managed.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in business, economics, finance, procurement, legal, or equivalent.

- Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $144,000.00 - $247,825.00. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
