340B Operations Supervisor, First Shift, UCH Business Center (Finance)

UC Health is hiring a Pharmacy 340B Supervisor at the University of Cincinnati's Medical Center.
Under the supervision of the 340B Operations Manager, the 340B Operations Supervisor's primary purpose is to coordinate, oversee and train 340B Analysts and implement practices, programs and services to maximize 340B optimization and compliance. The 340B Operations Supervisor will work with staff in daily functions to achieve 340B Services department goals and program optimization. The 340B Operations Supervisor may also conduct audit verification, referral tracking and monitoring of patients in EPIC at the direction of 340B Operations Manager. Additional tasks and/or Special Projects may also be required to meet 340B Services department needs at the direction of the 340B Operations Manager.

License and Certification:
- 340B Apexus Certified (ACE) must be obtained within 3 months of hire (job requirement, not state)
- Certified Pharmacy Technician is preferred.
- Ohio Pharmacy Technician license preferred
Years of Experience: Minimum Required: 3 years equivalent experience; leadership experience preferred
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Experience with Excel and database management.
- Extensive knowledge of EPIC health management.
- Experience with auditing is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of 340B operations and strategy.

The expected starting salary range for this position is between $29.48/hr.- $37.24/hr.
The actual pay rate for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant's years of experience, unique skills and abilities, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, and other requirements for the position.

- Work with 340B Operations Manager to design auditing process to meet system needs for ensuring compliance and optimizing performance
- Assign work to be completed by assigned staff.
- Assist team in completion of work where needed.
- Monitor department standards and adjusts the work of the team accordingly to meet department objectives.
- Ensure that all reports, correspondence, and other assigned work are completed by the team
Supervises 340B Services Compliance
- Oversee the analyst team auditing to examine opportunities to improve performance
- Oversee the audits of 340B eligible claims to maximize compliance.
- Coordinate internal and external 340B audits.
- Perform ongoing audits of split billing system
Supervises 340B Services Leadership
- Clearly communicate the 340B Services department standards to staff and leads by example.
- Assist with safety and compliance programs in coordination with other department management.
- Keep team abreast of upcoming changes with new drugs/processes.
- Coordinate appropriate staff training and stays current on industry and practice changes.
- Work with other department management to formulate and execute training programs.
- Provide coaching to employees who are not meeting performance standards and input into performance improvement plans when necessary.
- Report to 340B Operations Manager regarding all personnel issues.
- Work with assigned staff to complete duties in timely manner.
- Assist in auditing patient accounts and claims to ensure completion and quality of work.
- Provide feedback to individual associates accountable on productivity, quality, and process improvement
- Document associate productivity and quality.
Supervises 340B Services Operations Optimization
- Monitor 340B performance.
- Oversee and coordinates 340B operations under the direction of the 340B Manager.
- Work closely with pharmacy groups to coordinate 340B services.
- Work within the 340B management system and with Pharmacy Informatics to maximize integration.
General Duties & Responsibilities
- Document all pertinent patient and claim information related to the 340B program.

- Perform any other related work as required for 340B Services department to run efficiently
