Repair Technician (Maintenance)
Summary
The Repair Technician is responsible for the disassembly, inspection, maintenance, and reassembly of customer equipment, ensuring that all repairs and upgrades meet quality standards. The role requires proficiency in the use of repair tools and techniques.
Essential Functions

Disassembly, Inspection, Repair and Reassembly: Perform the disassembly, inspection, cleaning, and reassembly of customer equipment. Replace broken or worn components and implement upgrades as required. Proficiency in troubleshooting digital and analog circuit designs, reading schematics, and experience with desoldering and replacing electronic components is preferred.Documentation and System Updates: Accurately update job details in the SAP tracking system, ensuring part number verification, documentation of used components, and a detailed assessment of completed repairs.Collaboration with Quality Assurance: Work closely with the QA technician/manager to identify and resolve any outstanding quality issues, providing effective solutions that benefit both the company and the customer.Independent Work in Dynamic Environment: Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and adjusting to changing requirements.Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Maintain tools and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe condition, ensuring proper functionality and longevity.Workplace Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace to enhance efficiency and minimize repair turnaround times. Responsible for the accountability and proper use of tools and equipment provided by the company.Compliance with Quality Standards: Adhere to the company's Quality Management System, ensuring all work aligns with organizational quality standards.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Background in electrical and/or mechanical repairStrong work ethic and attention to detailAbility to follow established processes and proceduresExcellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work well within a team environment
Additional technical training or certifications in electrical or mechanical repair preferred
