The Clinic RN has the responsibility for providing direct and indirect nursing care to assigned participants; Works under the direct and indirect supervision of the Clinic Supervisor or designee but is independent in the application of advance nursing knowledge and skills; Manages complex clinical situations for which he or she is responsible. Education and Special Training: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.Experience:Has practiced nursing in the last 3 years; 3 years RN experience with at least 24 months experience working with the aging, frail or elderly populations.Licensure, Registry or Certification Required: RN currently licensed in North Carolina (NC); presents credentials which demonstrate ability to meet performance criteria for RN; Valid NC Drivers license and vehicle.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Must possess knowledge and skills necessary to treat participants; Only act within the scope of his or her authority to practice; Meet a standardized set of competencies for the specific position description established by PACE of Guilford and Rockingham Counties and approved by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) before working independently.
