Job Summary
Urban is seeking an experienced Risk Assessment Manager to provide professional risk expertise with specific emphasis in conducting risk and contingency reviews as part of the oversight of FTA-funded major capital transit projects. Work will include reviewing risk management plans, risk registers, and supporting documentation, performing risk and contingency reviews for FTA-funded projects and serving as a technical resource and subject matter expert in risk assessments. The Risk Assessment Manager should have expert knowledge in performing Monte Carlo and other comparable simulations for cost and schedule risk analysis calculations.
The Risk Assessment Manager will work in our Rail and Transit Department. The candidate will assist project managers with planning, design and construction management for the passenger rail and transit business and lend support to the firm's facility and aviation markets. Candidates must be able to assist project management for various types of projects that may include stations, terminals, storage, industrial, and maintenance facilities. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage the firm's risk assessment activities while meeting project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements.
